MEC Official Portal provides disability access for people with disabilities.

 

A)For Visually Impaired User

For visually impaired users, MEC Official Portal provides Text Reader facility . It is a link to an automated word-to-voice conversion application. Users only need to highlight the parts they want to hear and click the Text reader button. This facility pronounces the highlighted text into different languages such as English,Malay and others.

 

B) Senior Citizen User

 

For senior citizen user, MEC Official Portal provides text magnifier facility whereby user can select different text sizes depending on their comfort    . Text Size Choices are displayed on every top row of each Portal page.

 

C) For Color Blind User

 

There are 3 choices of color,  Yellow, Blue,  and Purple   located at the very top of MEC Official Website. User can choose any of these colors as they prefer. The color template will  be changed immediately after the selection is made.
